Australian group to hold free concert
Planetshakers, a band best known for its array of musical styles blended together for modern worship, will perform a free concert at 6 p.m. Wednesday at James River Assembly in Ozark.
The band from Melbourne, Australia, will share music from its most current CD, "Beautiful Savior," as well as hit songs from "All For Love" and "Never Stop."
Planetshakers is devoted to seeing God's presence revolutionize this generation, according to a news release from the church. Living by the Planetshakers mandate, "to empower a generation to win a generation," the band travels internationally bringing God's breakthrough anointing to conferences and churches worldwide.
There will be a pre-concert party in the Atrium of James River Assembly at 4:30 p.m., with seating for the concert beginning at 5:30 p.m.

PlanetShakers - Planetshakers City Church
The band and ministry moved to Melbourne in 2004 to start the Planetshakers City Church, which currently meets in hired auditoriums throughout Central Melbourne. Pastors include Mike Guglielmucci and Sam and Russell Evans. The church has attendance of 2500, and throughout much of 2005 ran three services per weekend, commonly approaching capacity. 2006 will see the church make use of the Melbourne Town Hall with a single weekend service initially.
The church's youth ministry called "Boom" is led by pastors Mike and Amanda Guglielmucci, and runs Friday nights during school terms at various locations.
"Urban Life" groups (basically cell groups) are run fortnightly in homes spread around all parts of Melbourne. There are also various other ministries serving and reaching out to university students, children and women.
Planetshakers' stated mission is to "empower a generation to win a generation".

Praise and worship during a Planetshakers conference, 2005 Part 2
The 2009 Planetshakers conference tour will be moved to April, instead of January as in all past years.
Conference speakers have in the past included Glen Berteau, Jurgen Matthesius, Rich Wilkerson, Mal Fletcher, Pat Schazline, Jude Fouquier, Matthew Barnett, Judah Smith, Reinhard Bonnke, Reggie Dabbs and Chris Hill. With messages containing memorable catch-cries such as "crossing over", "seizing the day" and "breaking out of the box", and "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!". They strive to "empower a generation to win a generation". Young people are often challenged to deeper levels of surrender, repentance, passion, and faith in Jesus Christ.
